1. MEETING YOUR NEW BRAND + PRODUCT MANAGERS

Blacksmith International’s mission is not only to help you make the best product, it’s also to help grow your brand. At the beginning of our partnership, you will be introduced to your personal product manager and brand manager. Your product manager will be focused on perfecting your product, while your brand manager will focus on your brand growth. Both will work hand-in-hand to ensure your continued growth and success. They will be with you through every step of your journey.

2. DESIGNING YOUR PRODUCT & TECH PACK 

With a network of highly-skilled professional designers from a variety of disciplines from fashion to engineering, we help you perfect the design of your product. 3. SOURCING YOUR PRODUCT MATERIALS & POTENTIAL FACTORIES

With your Tech Pack complete, the Blacksmith Merchandising Team will begin sourcing your product materials and vetting potential factories. If your factory requires expertise outside of our network of over 1,500 vetted global factories, then our team will qualify a list of new factories in-person. Once we identify the best factories, we determine where to get your product made at the highest quality, for the best price, and within the agreed time-frame.

4. SAMPLING YOUR PRODUCT

Once we select your materials and factory, we make a sample of your product. You review your product sample with your dedicated Brand and Product Managers to decide if any changes are needed before starting a full production run.

5. MANAGING YOUR PRODUCTION & QUALITY CONTROL

Once production begins, the Blacksmith Quality Control Team will be on the factory floor in-person to ensure your product is being made to the highest quality standard. With Blacksmith QC Teams in Asia and the U.S., it doesn’t matter where your product is being made – the Blacksmith QC Team will be there to oversee it. 6. NAVIGATING YOUR SHIPPING & LOGISTICS

Once production is complete, Blacksmith will connect you with a trusted freight-forwarder to get your product delivered to you quickly and into the hands of your customers.
